Enjoy a magical stay in this marvellous castle with pool overlooking the vineyards in Mornico Losana.

The Castello di Mornico, that dates back to the 12th century, has been redesigned into a fascinating private manor offering well-appointed rooms, full of historic charm but with all modern comforts. An authentic experience in a fairytale location, accommodating up to 20/21 people in 10 bedrooms (935 m²) divided over the main villa with 6 bedrooms and the guesthouse with 4 bedrooms:
– The ground floor features a main entrance hall with impressive marble stairwell, a spacious room with grand piano, a library room with couches, TV and open fireplace, a lounge room with TV, a veranda, a dining room, and a kitchen.
– On the first floor are a TV room, 3 double bedrooms with ensuite bathroom, 2 double bedrooms, 1 bedroom with 3 single beds, a large bathroom, two panoramic terraces, laundry room.
– Going down you’ll find a medieval style tavern with vaulted brick ceiling inviting you to wine tastings and opulent dinners.
– Attached to the villa (but no internal connection) is optionally a guesthouse with another 4 ensuite bedrooms.

To optimally enjoy your stay, daily housekeeping can be provided, as well as a breakfast buffet in the morning, and a chef service for dinner (on request). The villa manager is available for any extra requests or to organize personalized tours in the area.

The Castello di Mornico enjoys a unique position on top of a hill offering peace and tranquility with 360 degree views over the vineyards and the village below. The gardens (700 m²) are well kept with beautifully clipped hedges and seasonal flowers. There’s a covered patio and the large swimming pool is surrounded by sun loungers and parasols.

The castle is set like a pearl in the beautiful unspoilt countryside overlooking the Po river valley. Mornico Losana is a charming little village and you’ll discover throughout this area many other incredible villages, wineries and historical places. The territory is rich in great wines and excellent food is the rule.
This area of the Oltrepò Pavese is still quite unknown and a wonderful ‘off the tourist trail’ destination in the Italian vineyards: whisper it out silently and discover this hidden gem all on your own!

– Security deposit by bank transfer to the owner (refundable): 5000 euro

Note:
– The villa manager, housekeeping, and chef service are available 6 days per week except Sunday (4 hours per day); extra days/hours upon request at extra charge.
– The swimming pool is opened approximately from May to October: contact us for exact dates before booking.
– Domestic animals not allowed.
