Villa Barbara is a stylish mid-century villa, private and deeply peaceful, yet very nearby Bellagio, the tourist hotspot of Lake Como. This villa (400 m²) features a unique modern curved façade, inspired by a famous Italian architect, and is built on a hill side with entry from the top floor. Villa Barbara sleeps comfortably up to 12 people in 6 air conditioned bedrooms, and two extra people can be accommodated at extra charge in additional beds:
– From the entrance hall you’ll enter the captivating living room with large windows overlooking the lake, relaxing lounge around the fireplace, dining table and access to the panoramic front lake terrace. Fully equipped kitchen with central island and access to the back garden terrace and barbecue. Also on this floor are two bedrooms with double bed (can be separated into two singles), each with ensuite bathroom.
– Going down to the lower floor you’ll find the second living and sitting room with small kitchen, and another terrace with astonishing views of the lake. There are 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms on this floor: two bedrooms with double bed (can be separated into two singles) with ensuite bathroom, one bedroom with double bed (can be separated into two singles), one bedroom with normal double bed. Shared bathroom.

The Villa Barbara is spread across three acres of beautiful forest and gardens, and stunning 180 degree views of Lake Como and the surrounding mountains. With an infinity swimming pool, children’s pool, hot tub, sauna, bocce court, multiple outdoor living and eating areas there is ample space to work, play, unwind, recharge and reboot.

The villa is located on a private road in Civenna, a quiet village set in the hills above Bellagio, a short 15 minutes’ drive (9 km) away. Well-known as the pearl of Lake Como, Bellagio is a small picturesque village with a lovely lakeside promenade and many cafes, restaurants and craft shops. Ideally situated in the center of the lake, it is the perfect base for exploring the area easily by ferry towards Varenna, Menaggio and all other beautiful and magical parts of Lake Como!

RENTAL CONDITIONS – VILLA BARBARA:
Included:
Welcome aperitivo on arrival, daily breakfast service (from June to August) excluding food shopping, 4 complimentary in house massages/shiatsu treatments (from June to August), cleaning except Sunday (4hrs/day from May to September, 2hrs/day in April and October), electricity and air conditioning, bed linen and bathroom and pool towels (weekly change), smart TV, wireless internet, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, fire place, baby bed and high chair, gym equipment, garden, barbecue, swimming pool (12 x 4m; depth 1,1m), children’s pool (2 x 4m; depth 1 m), hot tub, sauna, petanque lane, organic vegetable garden, parking

Extra to be paid:
– Security deposit by credit card directly to the owner (refundable): 2000 euro
– Gas and heating: metered according to consumption

Reservations per week in high season, shorter stays possible outside of high season.

Note:
– An extra charge will apply for more than 12 people. Please enquire.
– Please note air-conditioning is featured in the bedrooms only.
– The caretakers live in a separate, self-contained apartment which has its own private entrance near the front gate, so you need never see them unless you need them.
– Swimming pool opened seasonally approximately from June to end September; contact us for the exact dates before booking.
– Domestic animals allowed upon prior approval with an extra cleaning fee and insurance.
– Parties or events allowed upon prior approval. An extra fee for more guests than those sleeping in the villa will apply.

Private chef and other catering options, pre-stocking, extra cleaning and change of linen, personal trainer and massage, tour guide, boat & bike rentals, and other extra services: upon prior request only – we will gladly provide you with the direct contact details of the service providers to enhance your villa vacation experience.
Important: pre-authorization of any in-villa services by external people is required by the owner of the villa, and for some properties the services can be organised only by trusted persons of the owner. Please enquire before booking.
